North Sidelined for 5 Weeks Wednesday, June 28th, 2028 It took the Kansas City team doctor a while to realize it, but center fielder Oliver North won't simply play through a rotator cuff strain after he got hurt throwing the ball in today's Prowlers-Tornadoes game. At first, it looked like North might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 5 weeks. In his stats this season, North has posted a batting average of .300 with 73 hits in 243 at-bats, 1 home run and 24 RBIs. He has also scored 45 runs, walked 48 times and compiled a .418 OBP. |
