Tuesday, June 27th, 2028
After the end of today's game between San Francisco and Jersey, Pablo Ríos skipped the clubhouse and headed straight for the doctor's office. After he was removed from the game as a precaution after throwing the ball, the Earthquakes had their worst fears confirmed when it turned out to be more serious. The second baseman will miss at least 5-6 weeks with a strained triceps.

So far this season Ríos is batting .224 with 2 home runs, 16 RBIs and 22 runs scored. He has 30 hits in 134 at-bats, 25 walks and a .348 OBP. Ríos has played in 46 games.
