Armada Second Baseman Vuppula Injured Thursday, June 8th, 2028 Quebec fans held their breath as Apupa Vuppula left yesterday's Mustangs-Armada contest with an injury. After the game, the team's medical staff said that the 24-year-old second baseman had suffered a sprained thumb while making a defensive play. It's estimated that he will be out 4 weeks. For the season Vuppula is currently batting .307 with 1 home run and 10 RBIs. In 24 games he has reached base at a .337 rate and scored 11 runs to date. |
