Georgia Loses Damon Willis for Season Tuesday, June 6th, 2028 The Georgia Grays were dealt a severe blow when Damon Willis was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the Oklahoma City Prowlers. After the game, the team trainer reported Willis might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 28-year-old reliever out for the rest of the season with shoulder inflammation. They indicated it would take Willis at least 5-6 months to heal. This season in 12 relief appearances Willis has thrown 22.2 innings and collected 1 save. His won-lost record is 2-0 with a 0.79 ERA. |
