Georgia's Gamboa Out 4-5 Months

The season is ending on a bad note for Carlos Gamboa, shortstop for the Georgia Grays. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Gamboa was hurt against the Minnesota Berserkers while making a defensive play. He suffered a broken kneecap and will be out for at least 4-5 months.
Gamboa is presently hitting at a .275 pace with 1 home run and 12 RBIs. He has played in 56 games and scored 27 times.
