Hernández Stretches Hit String to 20 Saturday, May 27th, 2028 Everyone in So Cal is getting excited about Luis Hernández's hitting streak. The 23-year-old center fielder extended it today to 20 games with 3 hits against San Diego. The Republic took the Hops 12-4. Luis Hernández grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. Presently Hernández is batting .455 with no home runs and 12 RBIs. He has played in 27 games and scored 19 times. |
