Cook Spins Shutout
Friday, May 26th, 2028
Today was Robert Cook's turn in the rotation for the Omaha Titans and he made the most of it, shutting out the Columbus Codebreakers on 6 hits.

The 27-year-old right-hander led the Titans to an easy 6-0 victory, allowing 1 walk and tallying 7 strikeouts.

"I hope we miss him next time," Columbus manager Julián Cancil said. "Cook certainly pitched a strong game against us today. He was in a groove, throwing everything for strikes. Throwing hard. Changing speeds."

Currently Cook has a record of 3-5 with 50 strikeouts and 25 walks in 58 innings and a 5.74 ERA.
