Danger McIntyre Injured Sunday, May 14th, 2028 Bill McIntyre at first refused to leave today's San Francisco-Duke City game after he suffered an elbow sprain while making a defensive play. But his manager convinced him not to be foolish. "I want to be on the field," the feisty Duke City left fielder said. "I'll play through just about anything." Given time to reflect on the situation, he knew it was in his best interest to get immediate treatment. The injury is expected to keep McIntyre out of action for 5 weeks. This season McIntyre is hitting .260 with 38 hits, 5 home runs, 23 RBIs, scored 20 runs and played in 39 games. |
