Injury Sidelines Brett Beck For Year
Saturday, May 13th, 2028
Mile High starting pitcher Brett Beck could miss the remainder of the season because of a damaged elbow ligament. He exited yesterday's Brooklyn game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Beck would be out 12-13 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that."
In the current season in 7 starts, Brett Beck has a record of 1-3 with 22 strikeouts in 35.2 innings and a 4.29 ERA.
