Martin Whitney Out for 5 Weeks Saturday, April 29th, 2028 After injuring himself, Hornets right fielder Martin Whitney headed straight to the hospital. He was removed from the game as a precaution after running the bases and the team's worst fears were confirmed when it turned out to be a little more serious. Whitney will miss at least 5 weeks with a hamstring strain. This year Whitney has collected a .330 batting average to date with 30 hits in 91 at-bats, 8 RBIs, 6 home runs and scored 20 times.
