Thursday, April 27th, 2028
During a recent Cabo San Lucas-Kansas City game at Field de Los Layendas, Takanibu Kobayashi of the Toreros and Kulapati Pandian of the Tornadoes got into an altercation on the field and had to be separated from each other as the benches emptied. Both players knew they would have to face the music and today the league commissioner's office announced their punishments. They have been given 7-game suspensions because of their actions.
This season Kobayashi has delivered 16 hits in 64 at-bats for a .250 average with no home runs. He is getting on base at a .294 clip and his totals also include 8 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This year Kobayashi has played in 19 games.
Pandian has nailed down 1 save for the year. He has also totaled 12 strikeouts and 3 walks in 14 innings while registering a 6.43 ERA and a 1-0 won-lost record.
