Friday, April 21st, 2028
The Eureka Hornets learned that Luis Galindo is likely to be out for 5 weeks after he injured himself making a defensive play in today's game against the Georgia Grays. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be a fractured rib. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the Eureka manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Luis is back in action."
This year Galindo has socked 20 hits in 74 at-bats for a .270 average with 3 home runs. He is getting on base at a .295 pace and his totals also include 10 RBIs and 9 runs scored.
