Tornadoes McCarthy Sizzles with Cycle Thursday, April 6th, 2028 Todd McCarthy won the battle against the Quebec Armada, but lost the war. The Kansas City Tornadoes right fielder hit for the cycle today, but it wasn't enough to bring home victory. The Tornadoes fell to the Armada 8-7 at Lucky 7 Ballpark. "Todd did great but we couldn't put everything together today," Kansas City manager Alex Woods said after the game. McCarthy collected 4 hits -- 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run -- plus 1 run batted in and 2 runs scored.
