Bad News for Kansas City, Nelson Injured Tuesday, September 21st, 2027 Tornadoes starting pitcher Jake Nelson will be spending 5 months on the shelf according to his manager. He was hurt in a recent game against Georgia throwing a pitch and suffered a torn back muscle. The Kansas City GM told BNN no decision had been made on his replacement. He said an announcement was forthcoming, probably tomorrow. On his stats sheet this season Nelson shows a 11-9 record, 31 starts, 196.1 innings, 162 strikeouts and a 4.58 ERA. |
