Monday, September 13th, 2027
South Carolina first baseman Julián Martínez keeps on racking up hits in every game he plays in. His hitting streak now stands at 25 games after collecting 2 hits in today's game.

"I have been seeing the ball really good the last few weeks, but I am a bit surprised how things are working out. I've gotten a couple flares to drop in, so I've been a little lucky," said Martínez after the Bombers 12-2 victory over the Grays.
Julián Martínez hit a three-run home run off Gabriel Núńez in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, was hit by a pitch in the 6th and flied out in the 8th.

So far this season Martínez has put up a .304 batting average with 179 hits, 28 home runs and 93 RBIs.
