Luis Galindo Out for 5 Weeks Monday, August 30th, 2027 The Eureka Hornets were dealt a severe blow when Luis Galindo was hurt throwing the ball recently in a game against the Cabo San Lucas Toreros. After the game, the team trainer reported Galindo might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 29-year-old right fielder out for the rest of the season with shoulder bursitis. They indicated it would take Galindo at least 5 weeks to heal. Thus far this season in 94 games Galindo is batting .313 with 11 home runs, 52 RBIs and 46 runs scored. He has 109 hits in 348 at-bats. |
