Great Stroke: Raman Gets 5 Hits
Thursday, August 26th, 2027
The Bombers whipped the Grays 15-5 at Bomber Ballpark and Adhivahana Raman had a big hand in the win. The Bombers right fielder came to the plate 6 times and collected 5 hits. It was a good day for Raman and a tough day for Georgia. "I just go up there and whale away and hope it hits the barrel of the bat," he said. "There really isn't any plan." Plan or not, Raman delivered today -- 5-for-6 is outstanding in any league. Adhivahana Raman singled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Finlay Coinneach in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
In his stats this season, Raman has posted a batting average of .353 with 65 hits in 184 at-bats, 4 home runs and 25 RBIs. He has also scored 25 runs, walked 3 times and compiled a .374 OBP.
