Sato on a Hot Streak, TML Player of the Week Monday, August 2nd, 2027 At the age of 31, Nakamaro Sato might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Mile High designated hitter put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .500 batting average. For his efforts Sato collected the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 12 hits in 24 at-bats, 3 home runs and 8 RBIs last week in 7 games. Thus far this year Sato is batting .281 with 16 home runs, 52 RBIs and 49 runs scored. |
