Thurman Munson League Names Rookie of Month Sunday, August 1st, 2027 Akio Ishii's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Jersey center fielder has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In July he was voted the Rookie of the Month Award. During the month he hit .372 with 4 doubles, 2 triples and 4 home runs. Ishii also scored 24 times and drove in 16 runs. So far this season Ishii has 12 home runs and a .290 batting average. |
