Earthquakes Pitching Ravaged by López Saturday, July 31st, 2027 5 hits in 5 at-bats. It doesn't happen every day, and when it does, it's exciting. Today Pablo López of the Georgia Grays had a sensational game against San Francisco at Golden Gate Park. He rifled base hits all over the ballpark in his team's 10-4 shellacking of the Earthquakes. In the postgame press conference he joked, "Heck, that's a week's worth of hitting for me and I did ,it all in one day. I guess I can take the rest of the week off. Right, skipper?" Pablo López singled in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. For the year López is batting .254 with 104 hits and 11 home runs. He has scored 64 times and driven in 52. |
