Texans, Tornadoes Confirm Deal Saturday, July 31st, 2027 It's all done except the paperwork. The Dallas Texans and the Kansas City Tornadoes have agreed to a trade that will send 35-year-old RHP Ramón Vázquez to Kansas City, while 20-year-old minor league CF Gérard Lacroix and 25-year-old minor league RHP Dan Edwards will be shipped to Dallas. A top front office executive with the Texans described the trade talks as "quick and easy." "We're glad to get this deal done. We think it's something that helps our ball club and it didn't take too long at all to sort this one out," he said. This year Vázquez has registered 10 wins and 8 losses in 23 starts with a 3.83 ERA while registering 141 strikeouts and 45 walks in 166.2 innings. |
