Duke City, Dallas Swap Players Saturday, July 31st, 2027 It's all done except the paperwork. The Duke City Danger and the Dallas Texans have agreed to a trade that will send 33-year-old LHP Didier Fernandez, 26-year-old minor league RHP Bei Law, 22-year-old minor league RHP Jim Leclair and 19-year-old minor league RHP William MacDougal to Dallas, while 37-year-old 1B Rod Brown, 24-year-old CF Anthony Cadenhead and 35-year-old C Nick Robertson will be shipped to Duke City. A top front office executive with the Danger described the trade talks as "quick and easy." "We're glad to get this deal done. We think it's something that helps our ball club and it didn't take too long at all to sort this one out," he said. Crunching the numbers on Fernandez for the year, he has made 6 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 0-2 won-lost mark and 6.62 ERA. In pitching 17.2 innings, he has totaled 12 strikeouts and 10 walks. Thus far in 2027 Cadenhead is hitting .309 with 4 home runs, 18 RBIs, 27 runs scored and has compiled a .359 OBP. |
