New York's Rhodes Shuts out Wildcats

Curt Rhodes of the New York Mafia put the clamps on the opposition and held the Washington Wildcats scoreless in a 2-hit whitewash.
"He's got some good stuff, but we should have done better than that," said the Washington skipper after the 1-0 loss.
Rhodes was on target most of the game and finished with 7 strikeouts and no walks.
On the season Rhodes has compiled a 9-8 mark with a 3.38 ERA in 21 starts. In pitching 157.1 innings he has 142 strikeouts and 23 walks while limiting the opposition to a .284 batting average.
