Winters Keeps Hit Streak Alive Sunday, June 13th, 2027 Matt Winters collected 1 hit in today's game and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. His club, the Kansas City Tornadoes, beat Oakland 4-0. After the ballgame, Winters quipped to a BNN reporter, "Right now, when they throw me the ball, it looks the size of a softball. I'm pretty excited how things are clicking." Matt Winters flied out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th and singled in the 7th. Currently Winters is batting .389 with 8 home runs and 48 RBIs. |
