Stogies Oakes and Patriots Vickers Suspended for Fight Friday, June 4th, 2027 The league commissioner's office had responded quickly to yesterday's major incident at The Humidor involving the Stogies John Oakes and the Patriots Vincent Vickers. Both players have been given 8-game suspensions for violation of the league code of conduct. The suspensions will be effective immediately. So far this season, Oakes has recorded a .250 batting average with 50 hits, 4 home runs, 26 RBIs, 27 runs scored and a .324 OBP. To date this year Vickers has fashioned a 8.06 ERA over 25.2 innings with a 1-1 record. He has made 12 relief appearances with 16 strikeouts and no saves. |
