Vicente Otero Out of Action Wednesday, June 2nd, 2027 Injuries are something every team has to deal with. That fact struck home for the Eskimos when after today's game against the Jacks, the club found out they would be without the services of Vicente Otero for at least 12 months. After the game, his manager said of the incident, "You hate to lose anyone to injury. That's always a negative." Otero was injured earlier today throwing a pitch and suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. This season in 14 relief appearances Otero has thrown 27.1 innings and collected no saves. His won-lost record is 0-2 with a 4.94 ERA. |
