Dallas-So Cal Deal: Nakano for Kim Monday, May 31st, 2027 The Baseball News Network is reporting that Dallas and So Cal have agreed in principle to a swap that will send 31-year-old RHP Toyotomi Nakano to the Republic with 25-year-old minor league RHP Zak Bodle, 24-year-old minor league 3B Clyde Wrixon, 23-year-old minor league 3B Sang-soo Kim and 20-year-old minor league C Brendan Acton joining the Texans. Dallas's general manager would not confirm the trade, but a team representative close to the negotiations said the deal is official and is now only awaiting approval from the league. Thus far this season Nakano has compiled a 1-2 record, made 24 relief appearances with 6 saves, hurling 32 innings and striking out 30. He has held the opposition to a .286 batting average with a 5.34 ERA. |
