Wheeler, Pi Swap Clubs Monday, May 31st, 2027 Signed ... sealed ... and delivered. San Francisco has worked out terms of a deal to send 28-year-old RHP Chris Wheeler to Cabo San Lucas for 24-year-old minor league RHP Jin-woo Pi. Both teams expect to introduce their new players at press conferences later in the week. So far this season Wheeler has chalked up a 2.91 ERA with 7 saves. In 18 relief appearances he has registered a 1-2 won-lost record and struck out 22 batters in 21.2 innings, while walking 9. He has allowed teams to hit .267 against him. Pi has a lifetime record of 1 win and 4 losses and a 4.18 ERA. |
