Week's Best Player: Mile High's Dempsey Monday, May 31st, 2027 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Thurman Munson League, but last week Marshall Dempsey of the Mile High Mustangs reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Dempsey rocked opposing pitching for a .423 average (11-for-26), 4 home runs and 9 RBIs to come away with the award. Thus far this season in 50 games Dempsey is batting .339 with 15 home runs, 35 RBIs and 27 runs scored. He has 65 hits in 192 at-bats. |
