Whatever it was, it provided some surprising power as the Jersey third baseman smacked three balls up and out of the park at The Royal Court at Jersey Yards. His power surge sparked the Jesters to a 12-11 victory over the Beavers. He told BNN reporters, "When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you got a shot at a homer. I got three shots today and nailed them all." On his 3-homer day he went 3 for 7, scored 3 times, drove in 3 and put his name in the league record book. Ron Verity struck out in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Clayton O'Neil in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Clayton O'Neil in the 7th, flied out in the 8th, walked in the 9th, hit a solo-shot off Carlos Rúbio in the 11th and flied out in the 13th.
