Davis's Hit Streak Over Sunday, May 16th, 2027 Mike Davis's 31-game hitting streak has now come and gone. It was snapped today in the Danger 4-1 setback to the Gamblers. Davis went without a hit in 4 trips to the plate. Talking to BNN after the game he was visibly upset. But the streak had little to do with it. "I'm disappointed we lost, I'm not one bit disappointed that the streak ended," Davis said. "The hitting streak was just one of those things where it was fun while it lasted, but I'm not going to lose any sleep tonight." Davis is hitting at a .395 mark this season. His stats show 1 home run, 12 RBIs and 29 runs scored. He has played 36 games for the Danger. |
