League Gets Last Word, Suspends Reader 3 Games
Thursday, May 6th, 2027
Kyle Reader of San Diego got more than he bargained for when he was ejected for arguing a third strike call in yesterday's game against the Brooklyn Black Knights. It turns out that the ejection wasn't the end of it. Today, the league decided to suspend Reader for 3 games for his actions which included a rant filled with inappropriate language and throwing equipment on the field once he returned to the dugout.

"Players need to show more restraint on the field," the league's announcement said. "Reader obviously crossed the line and we had to take the proper action against him."

Currently Reader has no home runs and a .255 batting average.
