5-for-6 Day for Davis Thursday, May 6th, 2027 Duke City right fielder Mike Davis put on quite a show at Labatt Bleue Park with a big 5-hit day in the 10-5 victory over the Montreal Bandits. In the postgame interview, he said with a smile, "Not a bad day at the plate, 5 for 6.. Wish I could do this more often. It would do wonders for my batting average ... and my salary, too." Mike Davis singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. This year Davis is batting .400 with 1 home run. |
