Lópes, Sasquatch Rough Up Marauders

The Seattle Sasquatch got production from their entire lineup in an easy 14-0 win over the Maple Marauders. Player of the game honors went to left fielder Jesús Lópes. Lópes, who is tied for 2nd in the RCL in home runs with 17, slugged 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice. Seattle reliever Shi-xian Le picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Landy Lu shouldered the loss. The Sasquatch raised their record to 32-40.
An important at-bat for Seattle came with one out in the bottom of the fifth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Lópes hit a 3-run home run, which contributed to the Sasquatch win.
"They thumped us around," said losing manager Arinori Nakamura.
