The Las Vegas Gamblers got a superb performance from pitcher Ze-dong Zhang, who shut out the New York Mafia, 4-0. Pedro Medina earned the save, his 3rd. The Gamblers bumped their record to 41-30 with this latest triumph.

Zhang, the Las Vegas left-hander, went 7.1 innings, allowing no earned runs on 5 hits. He collected 8 strikeouts.

"I just trusted my stuff," said Zhang.
