McMahon, Marauders Too Much for Tornadoes
|
The Maple Marauders cruised to a 12-4 win over the Kansas City Tornadoes at Debris Field today. Dustin McMahon led the way, going 4-for-5 for Maple. Yasuhiko Ito was the winner. Over 6.1 innings, he allowed 1 run on 4 hits, with no walks and 6 strikeouts. Maple now sits in 4th place in the Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division at 36-33.
In the top of the second inning, Maple got a break when McMahon went to the plate. With one out, the bases loaded and the Marauders leading 5-0, McMahon hit a grand slam.
"Winning is all that really matters and we got it done today," McMahon told the Maple Gazette.
