The Cabo San Lucas Toreros beat the Portland Beavers, 6-5, at Field de Los Layendas. The win was largely due to the efforts of left fielder Kajal Ghandi, who captured player of the game honors. He went 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles. Mulia Kathirithamby was credited with the save for Cabo San Lucas, his 12th of the season. The 'W' lifts Cabo San Lucas's record to 34-36.

Cabo San Lucas took the lead in the bottom of the seventh when Ghandi hit a run-scoring double. His 9th double of the season made the score 6-5, Cabo San Lucas.

"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Portland manager Ryan Blandford. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
