Today was Curt Rhodes's turn in the rotation for the New York Mafia and he made the most of it, shutting out the Las Vegas Gamblers on 4 hits.

The 35-year-old left-hander led the Mafia to an easy 6-0 victory, allowing 2 walks and tallying 4 strikeouts.

"I hope we miss him next time," Las Vegas manager Jesús Alfaro said. "Rhodes certainly pitched a strong game against us today. He was in a groove, throwing everything for strikes. Throwing hard. Changing speeds."
