Black Knights Beat Berserkers in 10

Minnesota got a terrific performance from first baseman André Georges, but it wasn't enough to beat the Brooklyn Black Knights. Brooklyn won the The Frozen Tundra contest, 7-5. Georges was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He went 2 for 3 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. The win was Mike MacInroy's in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Ti-an Dan took the loss for Minnesota. Yasujiro Ono finished the game for Brooklyn and earned his 2nd save.
Tony De La Garza had the most critical at-bat for Brooklyn. With one in the top of the tenth inning, De La Garza hit a 0-1 curveball from Ti-an Dan for a run-scoring single. It put Brooklyn in front, 6-5.
"It was terrific getting this win," De La Garza said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
The loss drops Minnesota to 3-4.
