Mile High rode a good effort from starter Drstasara Sahni to beat the Eureka Hornets at The Nest. The final score was 5-2. Sahni went 8.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 2, and struck out 6. His record improves to 4-6. Kenkichi Kodo got the save, the 2nd for him this season.
Making an impact for Mile High was shortstop Edwin Pratt. He drilled a solo home run in the top of the fourth. For the game, Pratt went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Mile High manager Dave Harris. "It's usually not just one thing."
Mile High is last in the Thurman Munson League Sparky Anderson Division with a record of 23-45.
