Sasquatch Saddle Earthquakes with 6-4 Loss
Fans who gathered at Sick's Stadium saw a good contest between the Seattle Sasquatch and San Francisco Earthquakes.

The Seattle Sasquatch defeated the San Francisco Earthquakes, 6-4, in Roberto Clemente League action at Sick's Stadium. Joe Young received player of the game honors. The 8-year veteran went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Harold Hayne, who went 8 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 4 runs on 7 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 4. His record now stands at 3-0. Coco Yamashita notched his 8th save in 11 chances.

Kuma Ichihara produced a go-ahead double for Seattle in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and a runner on 1st, Ichihara hit a run-scoring double off Jo-hsi Sang. It put the Sasquatch in front, 3-2.

"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Young.

With the win, the Sasquatch improved to 79-82.
