Brooklyn Black Knights starter Wilson Deleón was in fine form against the Manhattan Beach Patriots at Blue Ivy Stadium, leading his team to a 7-4 win. Tokaji Goto earned his 40th save in 46 chances. At 88-73, the Black Knights are currently second in the Roberto Clemente League William Atteberry Division.

In the top of the seventh, Hisanobu Watanabe stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The Patriots were trailing 7-4, but had runners on 2nd and 3rd. That's when Koi-sho An made a terrific pitch and Watanabe grounded out. Gone was the dream of a Manhattan Beach comeback.
