Armada Win, Murayama has 3 hit night
|
The Quebec Armada topped the San Francisco Earthquakes by the score of 10-5, with the biggest share of the credit going to left fielder Toyokazu Murayama. Murayama was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Armada on the day. The save was credited to Matsuyo Sanu, his 1st. The Armada, now 6-1, have stormed out of the gates.
In the bottom of the sixth, right fielder Lyle Simmons hit a run-scoring single to center. The single, which was hit off of António Medrano, gave Quebec a 6-5 lead.
