The South Carolina Bombers beat the Maple Marauders, 7-5, at Bomber Ballpark. South Carolina first baseman Lowell Anderson earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He went 2-4 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The 'W' lifts South Carolina's record to 92-67.
Early in the game, Anderson had a 3-run home run for South Carolina. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Bombers on top, 3-1.
"We're a pretty talented bunch when we're playing well," said Anderson. "I think we showed that here."
