The Portland Beavers defeated the New York Mafia, 6-5, in 12 innings. Vihaan Vedant led the way, going 4-for-6 for Portland. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Beavers.

The most important at-bat for Portland came in the top of the 12th inning, when left fielder Ellis Stockdale stroked a 2-2 fastball to right-center for a run-scoring double, putting Portland up, 6-5.

"It was a test of wills," said Ryan Blandford, the Portland skipper. "I'm glad we came out of it with a win."
