The Manhattan Beach Patriots did just enough to sneak past the Minnesota Berserkers, 4-3, at The Frozen Tundra. Manhattan Beach pitcher Lee Barker earned player of the game honors. The Patriots, at 85-74, have now won 5 straight.
Manhattan Beach took the lead in the top of the seventh. With one out and a runner on 2nd, Bagaskoro Pakpahan stroked a run-scoring double to make it 4-3, Patriots.
"We put together a nice win," Pakpahan said.
