Williams Fires Shutout in Portland Win
The Portland Beavers rolled to an easy 5-0 win over the Oklahoma City Prowlers at Memorial Circle Park today. Leading the way to victory was starter Kent Williams, who shackled the Oklahoma City Prowlers and held them scoreless on a 3-hitter.

"This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Williams said in his postgame press conference.

This year Williams has a 12-11 record with a 4.28 ERA.
