Portland rode a good effort from starter Pepe Trevino to beat the Oklahoma City Prowlers at Memorial Circle Park. The final score was 4-2. Trevino got the win, improving to 1-1. He allowed 7 hits and walked 2 over 7 innings. Trevino allowed 2 earned runs. With the win, the Beavers have a record of 77-79.
Also pitching in was Portland catcher Phillip Lewis, who hammered a solo home run in the top of the sixth. For the game, Lewis was 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
