The Chicago Hitmen racked up a win at Metroplex Park, bumping off the Dallas Texans, 7-5. Song Wa, who started for Chicago, pitched effectively for his team. Chicago's record now stands at 72-85, placing them 5th in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division.

In the top of the second, Ashton Stanton hit a run-scoring double for Chicago. The 11th double of the season for the Chicago third baseman put the Hitmen on top, 1-0.
