Marauders Stun Jesters, 8-1

The Maple Marauders and starting pitcher Dylan Butlin stifled the Jersey offense en route to a comfortable 8-1 win at The Royal Court at Jersey Yards. The first-place Marauders, at 95-60, now lead their division by 3 games.
Both teams had trouble scoring runs. So, Dustin McMahon's at-bat in the top of the eighth was crucial. With one out, the Maple third baseman hit a 2-run single, to give his team a 3-1 lead.
"The division is still up for grabs, but I like our chances," McMahon told the Maple Gazette.
